President Alvi advocates solid maritime barrier

President Arif Alvi on Tuesday required a solid offshore barrier while talking as a visitor of respect at the dispatching service of Pakistan Navy transport in Karachi.

Alvi brought up that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project (CPEC) will expand action along the drift and this will require an improved sending of maritime resources and avowed the administration's pledge to building up the oceanic area.

The new ship has been named PNS Maun and can convey two helicopters on board.

Maritime Chief Zafar Mahmood Abbasi said the new tanker is an image of pride and mirrors the nation's mechanical quality.

Pakistan Navy's 'SAIF' takes part in joint activities with Turkish boats

A month ago, PNS Saif took an interest in joint activities with the Turkish naval force.

The activities, including Mavi Balina 2018, and two-sided practice Turgutreis-II, were gone for improving interoperability between taking an interest naval forces through the advancement of joined strategies, methods and practices.

Saif is fitted with best in class weapons and sensors for undertaking a wide range of oceanic activities in a multi-danger condition, the Navy said.
