A journalist was gunned down with his colleague sustaining serious injuries

PESHAWAR: A columnist was gunned down with his associate supporting genuine wounds in the wake of being focused by unidentified aggressors in Peshawar on Monday.

The people in question, distinguished as Noorul Hasan and Sabir, worked for a private TV slot in Nowshera. The pair was going on the bustling Ring Road when they were caught by outfitted men and terminated upon.

Hasan was moved to a nearby doctor's facility where he surrendered to his wounds, with Sabir's condition said to be basic.

The body of the perished has been giving over to his family.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Inspector General Police Salahuddin Khan Mehsud considered the episode, and requested a point by point report into the issue.

Further, Capital City Police Officer Peshawar has been requested to by and by regulate the examination.

In the interim, the K-P Union of Journalists has sentenced the homicide and requested to berate those in charge of the killings.

"The K-P government and security powers have bombed in guaranteeing the insurance of the columnists," read an announcement by the writers' association.
